Okay guys, we need 5-10 more paying signups to make it through the next bill paying session (in 10 days), so, I've decided to make it a little more 'attractive' to recruit people.

For every person you refer that signs up for a pay account with NWR we will give you one week for free (if they sign up for 6 mo.) and 1/2 month for free (if they sign up for 12 mo.).

So, if you get 2 people a month to sign up for 1yr., you could be free for life!

If you would rather opt. for cash instead of free access, it's $0.50 for 6mo. $1 for 12mo. payout is at $20.

Send me an e-mail with the username of the person you refered (new signups only, nothing before today), and I will verify and credit your account.

I'd have to raise the prices to do something like that.  It costs about $10 for a t-shirt to be printed (with a minimum of 100 shirts, and I don't got $1,000 to blow on shirts...), that would leave $17.50 for a whole years bandwidth, which doesn't come close to covering the expenses...  Not to mention it would cost an average of $5 to ship the t-shirt out, leaving $12.50 for bandwidth for a year...  (Current fee is $27.50 for 1 year infinite space, which itself doesn't cover expenses, but it helps put together with the other programs).  I pay several hundred a month for bandwidth fees, not including other expenses...

I suggested the above, simply because it requires no upfront investment from NWR, and doesn't raise prices so we are still heavily competitive.  I have no income or money of my own anymore remember!

Ok Waldo, I've been neglectful 'cause I'm so damn busy. But when my wife gets home tonight I'll send you $50 via paypal. I assume you'll let me know when you've recieved it and my bit'o'space has been upgraded. But what happens if you don't get enough people? Will I have simply contributed to a nice guy (I don't mind) or will you find a way to at least keep the paying folks going?
I sure hope everyone's doing the right thing and I'll definately get that done tonight when my wifes' credit card gets home. :D

The paying folks will of course have first priority, and the site will not 'die' if the deadline is not met, but it will be alot less of headache for me if the bill dates were met, because I wouldn't have to scramble and dip into my own personal funds...

Ultimately, to 'continue' to survive without me having to use my own money earned elsewhere, we need 100 to 200 people signed up and paying each year to float current expenses.  Currently, we have 15 fully registered and payed, (a whole bunch more have said they will pay but have not as of yet) which is fine given the time I introduced the program.  I figure a minimum of 10 pay signups a month should keep us going right now.

Now, if traffic increases (which it is, exponentially), then we need more people signed up...  That's why I proposed the above 'affiliate' program, in which you refer people, bring income to NWR, and recieve a commision for that.

As far as payment processing, if you send to the waldo@nowhereradio.com address, it goes through the NWR automated system and notifies me rather instantly.  I enable your space as soon as I get the notice, and I am near by a machine, which usually means within an hour, unless I'm eating/sleeping or out.
