I still need 2 orders for the shirts, but if I don't get them, I'm going to put my own money in for the prints and eat the loss, so that those who paid don't get ripped off.  It was worth a try...

Anyways, with my own money (now that I'm working again...) I bought a fairly decent mic, pop-filter, and new mixing board, plus a variety of other items needed.  I also received a tascam porta two as a donation, and a tascam US-224, which will help out with the broadcast.  I'm using the porta two as a sub board to knock down a few channels and run them into the main board, the US-224 will be used as the main input (analog to digital interface) for the broadcast.

I paid for the new server a while ago, and some of NWR now sits on that new server, but most is not.  The big switch will occur sometime in the winter, most likely late, as I'm working full time until this season ends.  NWR4 will be released at the same time, as well as a few new applications and tools.  (Check out a preview of the NWR4 interface modules here)

The list of 'needs' has been shrunk down to:
-Misc. patch cords (XLR m/f, 1/4" m/m, 1/4" TRS m/m)
-Dual channel Compressor x 2 (second unit can be tied stereo, prefer units that can be 2 x mono, or stereo)
-Standalone CD player (A 2 drive DJ unit would be major cool!)

The list of 'nice to haves' includes:
-Spare mics/cords/pop-filters/stands for guests and guest hosts
-40+ GB hard drives (to help increase maximum space, running low...)
-Multi-channel sound card/PC input device (4+ channels would help out)
-LCD PC monitors x 2 (Help save my eyes!!!!!!)

Thanks for the donations so far folks, we're getting closer every day!

Second set of shirts has been ordered, and I got them to print a few extra, so there is more available if you want to order them.  Only the 'Independent, not alone' shirts are available however.  But if there is lots of demand for the 'openind doors' shirts, I may print some more.

Good news is that second prints are cheaper, so I could lower the price considerably.

Anyways, the above list pretty much stands the same aside from I bought a compressor, so I only need one (stereo) now.

Seems all this gear is putting out alot of EMI, so I'm going to add a couple more things to the list.

- Quad noise gate (or 2x dual noise gates)
- Dual channel 15+ band EQ

Some small stuff like rack-rails, or road cases would come in handy as well.  If you have anything laying around that you don't need, let me know!

Note: Drives are critical.  Either that or a little income to cover the expense of server upgrades needed to keep running until NWR4 can be completed.

Shirt #2 arrived today, post office is closed so I cannot send them out, but they are all packaged and ready to go out tomorrow.

Still need drives, and about $2-$3000 USD for the next phase of development...  I'm looking for work for the winter, as I didn't make enough this summer to fund the whole thing.

There's roughly a dozen of t-shirt #2 left, I think I'll let them go for $25 USD each, or free with a donation of $40 or more.

All orders already in for second print Shirts were shipped last week.

A number of things have transpired in the last little while indicating that close to $10,000 CDN will be needed to keep NWR growing into the next evolution.  I do have a few things coming in that'll knock that down a grand and a half or so, but it could be a long haul before NWR4 is a complete reality.

Don't worry though, I won't let it die, but I might have to 'leave it alone' for a while to come up with the money.
