NO.

If the artist has decided to allow you to stream, you can listen.  STREAMING NEVER REQUIRES MEMBERSHIP.

If the artist has decided to allow public downloads, you can download, and then listen later.  If they have decided to only allow members to download, then you'll have to be a member to download.

THIS IS UP TO THE INDIVIDUAL ARTIST.

If you have trouble streaming, refer to FAQs on configuring your player to stream, as most sites only DLAPB (download and play back), NWR actually uses protected streaming, requiring proper configuration.
