PayPal Phishing

Please protect yourself. Some individuals are now falsifying e-mails to appear as though they are coming from paypal subscription systems, including ours.

DO NOT click on any links contained in such e-mails, rather go directly to the paypal site itself.

Paypal has some extra tips to help protect yourself from such fraud:

Waldo, If you remember, I received a couple of those bad emails. I notified both you and paypal. Then I got a legitimate bill from nowhere but paypal closed the account due to the scamming. I might have even told them not to pay it at that time, I dont remember.
Now, I owe you money to keep my account open and in good standing. Both you and paypal said to simply re subscribe. However I cant get in to resubscribe because my account already exists! I have a lot of folks who use the link to my existing account and prefer NOT to change it. I also do not want to loose all the stuff I have uploaded either. Can the site administrator fix this. Can I send you a payment as a donation or something? Already got a tee shirt
Or did I miss something here?

Well if it's saying 'account already exists' it's probably on paypal. It doesn't matter what paypal account you resubscribe with, as long as you are logged in to the right account on nowhere.

Just log in to your existing nowhere account, then go to the 'get more space' page (through the services page if you have to) and hit the paypal buttons.

Then go through whatever hoops they're gonna make you jump through any you're good.
