How do I upload my songs?

Q: I've signed up as an artist, now how do I upload songs?

A: Once you have signed up, verified your account, and entered your information, you must 'Add an artist' by clicking on the 'Add an artist' button.

Fill in the appropriate information for the artist. When you return to your artist administration menu, you will see the artist listed with controls for that artist.

Go to 'Album Manager'. You will see 'Singles' listed. You can now create an album, or just use the singles folder if you like. Click on 'Add/Edit songs'.

You can now hit 'Upload song', enter the filename you wish to upload, then enter the songs information, and the song will appear on your site under 'Discography/Singles', or the appropriate album in which you uploaded to.

Hello Waldo,

I am new and not the brighest. I have already emailed you some questions that will demonstrate this. I think I just uploaded a song but I guess it takes a while to be approved like mp3.com? I have songs there as well but I'm reading that some people prefer "nowhere," so I figured I'd check it out. I'm not sure if I did things right so I was wondering if it takes awhile before your song is playable. I put it under "samij"

hey Waldo,

I found the song but just typing in www.nowhereradio.com/samij didnt work. It doesnt take you to the music. Just the name. I am confused.

Heya Samij,

I just responded to your e-mail. The songs are listed under Discography, and then click on the appropriate heading from there.

I will be improving the interface soon, but until then, you can link directly to your 'singles' page like this:

http://nowhereradio.com/samij/singles

Thanks for providing this cool service too. I'm gonna check out the tunage around here and I'm hoping to get tips with my stuff as well as hearing what others are up to.
