If you have a song or song(s) you want featured on a NWR compilation album, or if you know of an artist that you would like to see on a compilation album, post their link here!
Artists will be compensated with a percentage of the profit for each album sold, equal to the number of songs on the album.
Post away, I'd like to start the albums ASAP!
Nice one
OK here's 5 suggestions off the top of my head.
"Incense + Pepper Spray" or "When Clowns Die" by Ministers of Henry http://www.nowhereradio.com/artists/5/1064/
"Barking" or "Retracted" by Huds (the kinda of music I'd like to make) http://www.nowhereradio.com/artists/7/1113/index.shtml
"Heaven" or "Above Me" by Robert Kunin http://www.nowhereradio.com/artists/3/1098/
"The Watertank & The Table", "Life In The Barrens" or my favourite "Skew" by Red Candle http://www.nowhereradio.com/artists/2/1019/
"A Dream Within A Dream", "@" or anything by Mysterium http://www.nowhereradio.com/artists/7/1147/index.shtml
And that's just for starters.

Waldo...
I think I might know an artist who is interested.... ;)
Let me know how to "sign up"
I recommend AutoCad's "Blue Note" for any compilation album-- URL:

Im gonna Reccomend Voxvendor's
"Patience in my head"
http://www.nowhereradio.com/artists/rockpop/voxvendor/singles
I wouldn't think my stuff was good enough to be on a compilation, but if there's anything you want to use, feel free. I wouldn't accept any money, rather divert it back to Nowhere....
And vox's "patience in my head," sounds professional, (and he seems to know it ;)so I think it would be something good to put on there, because it doesn't sound like a home recording like some other stuff I heard. (mine) :)
later.
I rock!..;D
I vote for me too.. Hehe
::)
The tunes I have posted are incomplete at the moment
but feel free to use any of my stuff now or in the future.
Supporting each other is what we're all here for, right???

Hey VOXVENDOR!!!!
Great to find you here!!!
I heard a couple of your songs I got from your site! They are really cool!! I like In my head and Nothing to hide very much!
Waldo: I reccomend Honchos, Nubes del Ocaso and Gayrage Onc... I can upload songs of them three...
They will love it!
Thanx
As long as you got permission for all the bands to do so, that's cool! Make sure you post links so I can tune in ;)

Many new compilation options coming soon, keep your eyes open!

Feel free to pick the songs that are the most appropriate ...

Delirium
Hey Delerium,
Haven't had a chance to listen yet, but should inform you beforehand; you must be a member of NoWhere Radio, and have the tracks uploaded to NWR to get on the compilation, basically for legal reasons.
The disclaimer/license gives us permission to use the content you send to us, and only that which you send to us.

I recommend "Dock To Dock 2001" at:

Feel free to forward me any paperwork at autocadthomas@netscape.net!
Thanks.

Is there any type of time frame we are looking at with this compilation album? I guess I am wondering if there is anything we can do to help push this along. Not that have any idea of what to do...
Vice
This compilation will be done when we have enough artists of somewhat similar genres/styles for each album.
This compilation will be done on ODCD basis, i.e. Zero will be printed up, each will be printed as purchased.
For the 2,000 ct. professional print compilation, where some are given out for free, the rest sold, and each artist gets copies, we need a minimum of 15 artists signed up, and each has to have sent in their part of the expenses. Currently 2 people have shown interest in this program.
In other words, your guess is as good as mine.
Everyone please check out the poll I just posted 'I need a hands up'
This compilation will be done when we have enough artists of somewhat similar genres/styles for each album.
Well, how's the jazz genre looking?
Vice
Not a ton in the Jazz category listed, but it fits with a few other genres, so maybe an ecletic mix?
8)Real cool, man. <---- Done in my best beatnik voice ;D
Vice
Waldo you must be fairly familiar with many of the bands on your site(with different Genres). If a compilation is to sound good, maybe it should be by invitation only. What if you e-mailed 30 bands from each Genra you want to make a CD with, tell them that you like their music and you would like to invite them to be on a NowhereRadio Compilation. Yes there will be a cost if it's not a on-demand CD, but most bands probably would be interested in some sort of promo for their band. And yes you should get a pat on the back for your good work!
good luck
pathros
your welcome to any of my tunes.

Over much thought, the new NWR Revision will include a quick little feature that will allow you to submit tracks for the compilation projects.
Keep watch on it, and if you haven't yet, make your suggestions under 'input required' in the Site News forum!

Hi, Waldo!

"Easy Feeling"
"Endless game"
by Popcorn
You can check it!I can't really find the links to these songs right now -may be some problems with your server?

I would like you to consider the singles at:

I would love to be a part of this. I only have 4 songs posted at the moment, but hopefully I will have more (newer) songs in time for this. 3 of these are older tunes of mine, but I still like them ( I do admit they sound dated, though ). The fourth is one in preproduction and not the best recording to post here, but would love to know what you think (this is one of the newest songs coming out of me at the moment after a few years of writers block ).

I'm proud of the song Touch the Sky under the album Just A Ride. I would love to be on a compilation.

Waldo,
I don't know if you still need artists for the compilation, but I would like to appear on it. Please contact me if interested or not.
Bulldog Dave :)
We are a newly formed fresh rock band based in north London. Our music centres around 'energy rock' tunes - having a melody but a riff which will leave you tapping your foot at the very least.
There are a few tracks at http://www.mp3.com/unitydivide as we are currently uploading tracks to NoWhere Radio
The best track so far is 'Love Song Pt1 (heavy remix)'. It is best heard on Hi Fi as Lo Fi looses a lot of the definition, but a CD can be sent out if required.
Cheers,
A

If you/re still looking for artists for a compilation feel free to take this one (acoustic guitar with trip hop beats)
http://www.nowhereradio.com/artists/album.php?aid=3439&alid=-1
Waldo,
If you still need a song for the cd, "Lounge Work" by "Orbital Skip" has been in the number one spot (in pop & rock) for quite some time now.
You're welcome to use it if you wish. (or any other song on the CD)
Also..."Attention Deficit" seems to be a very popular instrumental (in Jazz)
Cheers,
Joe
