Well, let me know what you think here. I'm pretty new to this singer songwriter bit, this is the 2nd song I've written (Learn to Swim) & I've only been playing open mics & writing for about 4 months. It's not great YET but I thought I'd get some feedback.
I'm playing my Taylor 314ce & doing main vocals. I have one friend doing the lead bit & another doing the backup vocals. All of this was recorded @ home using a Rhode NT1A, Behringer mixer, Audiophile 2496 & Sonar XL.
Any feedback good or bad would be great!

The two songs listed show time lengths of 0. Perhaps only a temp. glitch related to the changes in motion at N.W.R. right now. ;)
That's a really nice tune you got yourself there, nice feel throughout. The mix is clear and well balanced and let's the beauty of the chord structure and melancholic harmony shine through.
You seem to go slightly askew at times with your timing trying to match the rhythm guitar with the lead playing over the top but this is negligible and a minor quibble.
Love the vocal harmonies towards the end nicely thought out and subtly added to the mix.
Good work keep it up

how did you record the crickets? they are really mixed in there beautifully. also these two guitar noises are very compatable and complimentary. drooling a little over those crickets
arbitrary face rating: :P
I really like the tune. Love the guitar. I had to get out the bass and play along.
Your vocals are fine. a real clear sound.
Thanks for sharing your tune.
John
