Here is a shortened list of 'to dos' after the NWR3 release. Plans are to complete all of these features in the next month or two:
- Auto-convert uploaded songs to 128kbps for playback, limit to 196kbps. Downloads will remain the original bit-rate.
* Create comment/rate feature for songs and reviews (ties in with charts)
* Add ratings scripts to each users directory with in page ratings (traffic and votes, ties in with statistics), comment scripting etc.
* Add statistics view to individual artists control pages. Breaks down downloads, etc.
- Add 'tell someone about this artist' links to automatically forward an e-mail to friends inbox's relating to the artist
- Add 'notify me' scripts and interface to allow users to receive updates on artists new songs, schedules, news, etc.
* Add album cover images, and upload script for album images.
- Create 'diy' resource (Add your own site/FFAL/Link listing)
* Finish newsletter application to keep users/artists up-to-date on the goings on at the site
- Add artist resources (listings, links, articles, news stories, help and more)
- Add free content apps for site owners to add listings/charts etc. to their site
* Finish schedule application for artists, events etc. (ties in with 'inform me' buttons and news)
- Create 'add news' feature for artists, and 'send newsletter' to subscribers to their personal list. (ties in with 'inform me' buttons)
