Q: When I streamed my song (lo-fi), it turns out to be something that sounds like a 78rpm record being played at 33 backwards. However, my other song is working fine.
Both were recorded analog, then dumped into the computer through Real Jukebox plus at 128.
What should I do?
A: Real uses the ancient Xing codec, which is very outdated, and not very good quality... I suggest using something quite a bit more up-to-date.
Check out the technical forum for a post 'Better audio codecs for collab' or just do a search on the net for 'LAME' or other encoders listed there. Just re-encode from the source WAV file, and re-upload. You'd be amazed by the difference!
