???Waldo, after what is becoming hours of tweaking, I still cannot stream songs from here. I have associated and disassociated mime types on all the various players 'till I am blue in the face. I have tried the 'change player' option here countless times--- it always opens wmp and diverts to windows 'no help' page. What is the deal? Is there any hope of ever streaming a song here? Am I just shit out of luck? I'm really trying to have patients, but I'm rapidly approaching my witt's end.
Hey man,
I have a feeling Windows Media is causing the problem.
This is the information I need from you to go further:
What browser + version are you using, what operating system, what speed is your internet connection, what are the security settings on your browser, is java enabled, what's the status of your cache, what error messages are you getting if any, what button are you clicking to stream, are you left or right clicking, what exactly happens after you click on a stream, and finally, what player + version do you want to use.

OK, I am using the latest version of microsoft internet explorer. Windows 98se. 56K. Java enabled. Not sure about the cache--how do I access that info? The two error messages I encounter from microsoft are error#s C00D2EEB and 8007000D both with no more help available. I always click the left mouse button. When I click on lo fi stream, WMP pops up on the left side of the screen and shows Brittney Spears, mmmmmm, then immediately opens the microsoft media support page on the right side of the screen and gives me one of the aforementioned errors. I mostly use MusicMatch(latest free version) for audio on the net, but sometimes Realplayer. I never use WMP, but have the newest version. I also downloaded Winamp today and it doesn't come up, even when I choose that player option on your site. Any more info you need from me, just let me know. I appreciate your help, Waldo.
I assume since you have the latest version of IE that you are running the latest version of Media Player as well?
W.
Made sure it was updated last night.
Okay, I still stick to version 6.4 (the last stable version), so I'm downloading/upgrading right now to look through it's settings. I'll add the help listing to the FAQ system ASAP, and will let you know when it is there.

Okay, I've updated the list to include instructions on how to disable/enable Windows Media Player 7.01 (latest version).
I'm about to start on Music Match jukebox.
Another thing I want you to do for me, to help troubleshoot. Right click on any of the 'play' buttons, and click Copy Shortcut. Then paste the URL here for me to take a look at.
Also, are you running behind a firewall, or running any firewall software/port blocker?
