Title: Upload quagmire
Post by: LEE_TYLER on October 27, 2002, 08:28:53 AM
I apparently successfully uploaded a tune of about 6mb, and when I try to play it I get a "The requested URL was not found on this server". Can anyone be so kind as to advise me of what I am doing wrong. Thanks in advance, Lee.

Visit the FAQs on playback, if none of that works, please give some details on how you have configured, which links you are clicking on, what players you have set up, etc.

Thanks for the quick response, Waldo. My main problem is linking this one tune to my discography. I have windows media player and winamp. If anyone should go to my name, there is no way to listen to my tune. They would actually have to pick "genre" of "rock and pop"...and then type in the name of the tune to listen to the tune. I must be NOT doing something on an editing page or something.

Hehe, click on the 'singles' link under discography on your page, it'll then show all songs in that category.

It's a common error, and will be addressed in the new revision of the site, as it seems to be a mistake by 1 out of 50 people.

Also, if you wish to link to these pages, visit the 'get links' section under artist admin, it'll give you the URLs to link to your songs easy from other sites.

Hey Waldo, I am finally getting somewhere on nowhere radio. Figures I am one out of 50. Wife tells me I am one in 6 billion. Some statistician she turned out to be. Thanks for your help. Nice place you have here. ;)
