Title: hi fi won't play

I'm new to this site and have just uploaded our firt song. When I play it back hi fi it breaks up. lo fi seems fine. When I play back other peoples mp3's hi fi with about the same size files they play fine as well. Can someone help me.

1) What artist, and what song
2) What bitrate is the track
3) What encoder was used
4) What speed of connection are you on
5) What player are you using

VBR never streams well, especially through Windows Media Player (I assume that's what you mean by Media Player, there is about 20 other applications with that in their names though!).

It looks like your max. bitrate is set at 320kbps, which is rediculously high, most cable and DSL users aren't even capable of sustaining that rate, so that would explain why it's breaking up.

I suggest re-encoding to 128kbps if you intend to use streams, otherwise limit it to download only.

In the future, free accounts will be limitted to 128kbps streaming, which is pretty much the max. that most high-speed users can stream without interruption.
