My account, FrostyMP3 was also "disabled for violating terms of use". Was it because I tried to accidentally upload more that 15mb? I am a solo artist, was it because a band I am in also has an account
Two situations, inaccurate legal information, and multiple accounts from the same machine/user.
You can have multiple bands under one account, but not multiple accounts for one user/band/group.
False/incomplete/inaccurate legal information is also grounds for immediate deletion, as explained in big bold red letters above the entry form for this information.

Huh?! Two accounts, ok, one created for an individual and another for an ensemble. Accounts were created from behind the same firewall, so I guess the IP address presented to nowhereradio was the same.
Material was uploaded and then deleted without warning. Kinda nasty. Well, I guess we get what we pay for: nothing for nothing!
Once again, If you, as an individual, are part of that group, than no, you cannot have another user account. You CAN however place both the group, and yourself under different band pages by simply adding an artist.
The band account was disabled because a bogus name, and address were used.
Violating terms of agreement is grounds for immediate deletion, and that's highlighted in big bold red letters when you are signing up. As you have signed up again, for yet another account, once again entering false information, you are very aware of this.

I apologize for the inacuracies in the band signup. The name was the band's name - not an individuals name. The address was not bogus.
For the record, and for those following this thread, my attempt to re-signup as an individual was completely accurate - but the account was summarily delete.
Re-signing up will result in immediate account disabling due to the system finding duplicate account information.
DO NOT re-sign up if your account is disabled. As the message states when your account is disabled, contact administration.
For the record, you didn't even include a house/appartment number, how could it be accurate?
W.
Ok, but doesn't posting to this forum equate with "contacting administration"? If not, please advise how!
I live in the sticks in a small, rural town. Many roads are not paved, there are no streetlights or sidewalks and, as far as I know, there may be no real house numbers. Well, I suppose there might have to be, but I don't use one, and the P.O. never seems to care. If the database requires a number, I'll put one in I guess.
We use the USPS system to verify addresses and address owners, and the system requires, at the very least, a PO number, apartment number, or house number.
If you send the full information to me in a digitally signed e-mail (forum posts are not considered legally admissable in any court, but digitally signed e-mails are in the US and Canada), as well as a statement to the effect of 'I, {name} declare this information is accurate and I hold the copyrights to the works I will be submitting', and the username you wish to re-activate, I will verify the info, and consider re-activating the account.
