Well, I was careful never to say that I actually was going to be there. :o
So many things happened - my daugher just returned from disneyland the day before, my friend is going through a divorce, need a new air-compressor to pump the tires in my truck....
So I didn't go see the gig at the Fox and the Hound.
Sorry, I did want to see who you were in person, but, well, I didn't.
I am guessing that you might be a former Edmontonian, who used to produce the first SNFU records - but then, I might be wrong.
In anycase, rock on,
doing the invaluable thing that you do.
Cheers!
EricJ,
S'ok, your loss ;) Was a good time had by all, and a decent night. After the show we went to the hotel, had an impromptu hotel party, and then we went to a nearby studio and jammed until the wee hours of the morning (I think we got back to the hotel around 7:30AM)...
Was worth it!
And nope, I don't think I'm who you are thinking I am.... Even if I was, I might wish to remain anonymous ;)
yeah, sorry I couldn't make it either..
I had my private jet fly me to Patricks Roadhouse On the beach in West Hollywood for breakfast...
I will try to fit you in next time.. ;)
Well, real waldo, you can be as anonymous or as public as you want, that's entirely your business.
As long as you spend your fee time and money hosting gigs and gigs of independant music, you can be whoever you like!
The only reason that I was hoping you were not that guy was that I pissed him off once. I was doing some noisy maintennance to a building that HAD to be done immediately, which happened to be during a soundcheck. Needless to say, mr. big indepedant music producer/sound guy was less than impressed. And the band. I felt very bad.
I just didn't want to run into you a gig and have you say - "oh that asshole! I indeed remember you! Please shove this soundboard up your butt!" Or words to that effect.
So I am glad that you are whoever you are.
And I'm sorry I didn't meet you at the gig.
Oh, so YOU'RE that guy?
Lol, s'ok, I'm not THAT guy ;)
