opinions on this song please?

Hello everyone!

I just put my first home studio recorded song on nowhereradio and would like to get some opinions both on the song itself and the recording quality.  I recorded it with ProTools for the Mbox.  It's always so hard to critique your own work you know.. Thanks!

I don't know if you wanted a review from just the moderators or if anyone will do...but here goes. I'm a complete amateur myself so you don't have to take anything I say seriously.

First off I liked the vibe of the tune.  It gave me the feel of medieval europe for some reason...?!  I really liked the piano and strings.  The singing seems good but I found it to be a little too buried in the mix.
The drums didn't really work for me. They seem to fight against everything else. Perhaps they are just too loud and lowering them a little would make the vocals sit better.
I actually liked when you faded the drums out at the end and you just got to hear the strings by themselves. It made the whole thing more interesting for me. Perhaps you could do that at different points in the track to give it dynamics.

Just my opinion...you're more than welcome to tell me where to go.
