CD Label

This is a doughnut-shaped circular image, 4.75 inches in diameter, with a 1.75-inch diameter "hole" in the middle. It is important that the center hole and the area outside the 4.75 inch outer diameter be blank white space.

The label will be printed with a black thermal printer on a silver CD. All graphics should be rendered as high contrast grayscale TIFs, at least 300 DPI.

The only item that we require to be printed on the CD label is a small bar code at the 3:30 position. After the CD is created, we will scan the bar code to insure that the CD is packaged and addressed correctly.

Name this file Label-xx.tif.

Jewel case front inserts

These may be color or B&W TIF files, 4.75 inches square, at least 300 DPI. All four pages of the front insert are the same size. cover-1-xx.tif is the front of the jewel case, cover-2-xx.tif is visible when the jewel case is opened, cover-3-xx.tif is used for 4-page cover inserts only. When the cover insert is removed from the jewel case and is opened like a book, page 3 is visible on the left. cover-4-xx.tif is used for 4-page cover inserts only. When the cover insert is removed from the jewel case and is opened like a book, page 4 is visible on the right.

Jewel case tray inserts

For tray-back-xx.tif, which is visible from the back of the closed jewel case, upload a 4.75 inch square graphic. We will overlay this image on a black background, then print the artist name and CD title on the two edges, visible when looking at the left or right edge of the jewel case.  A small NoWhere Radio graphic may be printed on the back in an area where it won't interfere with the remainder of the artwork.

For tray-inside-xx.tif, used when the musician chooses a clear tray, the dimensions are 4.62 inches high and 6 inches wide.

Spine label is automatically generated from your information received on the signup form.
