User name cannot be left blank?

I'm trying to sign up as an artist and when I fill in the fields, I keep getting  a 'user name cannot be left blank' message. I've tried 3 different names. What's up?

Could be:

1) Your browser has cached something it shouldn't
2) Your using bad usernames (list them here)
3) Your browser is having problems

I'd first clear your cache, force a reset on the ISP side, and then go from there.
