Back up to $350USD needed ($50 was used to cover current leftovers on monthly NWR bills), don't let it slide all the way back!

Welp, more bills have gone by as yet another month comes to pass.  I had to re-register some of the NWR domains that were about to expire, and pay for the bandwidth overages for March.

We're back up to $450 needed now.

Waldo;

Did ya get to try the parts yet? I'd like to see the Broadcast Machine up!  :)

Yep, got the parts ;)  I'm looking for a BX board now to run that chip, even though it's a lower chip the best I can get it to read in the LX is 333, and it runs a bit flakey at that (thinks it's a PII).  Still need a couple little things as well, but there is supposed to be a few more things on their way (including boards).

I may have everything by the end of the month, just got paid from a project I'm helping on, so I'm putting the majority of that money into the server move.

Hmmmmmmmm, that was supposed to be a PIII 450. Like I told ya, I had nothing to test it on to make sure it even still works. I hope that it'll work out on a different board, Bro! Slot 1 Proc are getting hard to find. What kind of boards do you have coming?

I know it's a PIII 450 ;)  Problem is that an LX board tops out at about 83.5MHz for a bus, when a PIII runs off of 100MHz bus.  Plus, the architecture of a PIII is a little different.  LX boards were around before PIII's existed.

Anyways, I'm supposedly getting a few boards shipped to me, a couple I was told were slot 1 (but dunno what chipset) so I'm hoping one is a BX, so that the chip will run ;)

UPDATE: I 'uncrossed' some of the things on the list for the broadcast machine, as it's been 3 months since they were to be sent, and they either haven't been sent, or have not arrived.

I've crossed out quite a few more though.  The base computer system is pretty much there, other than a hard drive of decent size, a burner for doing show archives, and a good sound card.

I've received no audio gear whatsoever, so the list remains there.

As far as the server switch goes, we are nearly there.

NoWhere shirts will soon be available at $25-$35 to help fund the cause and provide you with something nice for your contribution.  Look for them within the next couple weeks.
