Artist Description:
I am a keys/guitar/harmonica/percussion player with singing skills not focused on,a thing in its changing state. A son of a piano tuner, father died at point in time close to JFK assasination. I played in bands and was touring south with a top 40 band when I met my wife to be, and I put my music on a back burner to work a "day" job, as I saw my musician friends lose their families due to the music lifestyle, and I always have put family next to God, or above all else.
Peter Gabriel reminded me about the need to lay tracks with the words in one of his songs, I felt, so at age 50 I allowed the most recent lay-off from my construction work be the very last, and began learning pc/DAW audio recording with a passion, with this track-laying in mind. Now I am at a pre-release/re-think/planning phase, I am a forever student, but looking ahead with enthusiasm.
Band members: Myself and all those involved in my midi keyboards' programs creation, whose heart, soul&minds as well as my own are all contained in my productions, so I know not their names but they get credit from me for their riffs I have utilized in "our" music. Instruments: Stratocaster(China),MidiKeyboard[(RadioShack)Casio] "Corcidin" "pill bottle", Duane's choice of "slide bottle", as told to me by Duane Allman.
HP Pavilion PC; Tascam US224 controlsurface; Ableton Live sequencing instrument; Music Style: R&R,R&B Whole Earth Influences: I once had a theme for a song to write which said "all my heroes are dead", and realizing that my #1 hero died and his blood was offered to me as salvation,so I accepted.
All my heros is a list that has great length, but I no longer distinguish the members of this list as "all dead". Duane Allman came from near where I live today, he was my main inspiration during a large part of my life. Lowell George also. Jimi H of course, I still live to emulate as well as the Cadillac team, or (Zeppelin) remain as main staples for my music interests foundation. I have always loved the R&B sound, as well as any harmony- based recordings. I always am very open to any new or old sound, re-done or re-cycled. I also once had and no longer have, as a songwriting in progress, a theme which says that "all the tunes have been spun", or every thing has already been done, and everything new has got to be a copy or remake of something from the past. And although I no longer have this project active, I still question (to myself, only) the truly "original" quality of any "new" piece. The "copy" "right" of any person is a thing to me which I forsee the potential for much ado. Perhaps . Maybe not. Much unrest, I forsee with regard to this and many subjects, much, much ado, for all concerned. Similar Artists: All artists heard of or not, living or dead.
