MANI is Andy Manifold yet another DIY solo artist, writing & recording from the cosy comfort of his own home.
Keyboards, Roland "Groove Box", occasional electric & acoustic guitars, bass and whatever I can get my hands on..
Having grown up musically in the late 70's and early 80's, when the new wave movement took hold, it is this period of music history that has probably had the most influence on my own song writing.
Armed with a range of musical ideas varying from all out pop to darker, more sombre musical landscapes, you may well find the music may take a while to sink in but if it does you could be pleasantly surprised.
The Cure, XTC, Tears For Fears, Radiohead, The Police, The Stranglers, Julian Cope/Teardrop Explodes, The Beat, The Jam, David Bowie, Elvis Costello, REM, Supergrass, Bjork, Massive Attack, Portishead, Thin Lizzy.

Songs and musical ideas have been bouncing around my head for 20 years or so now. However it's only been since I turned 30 that I've actually got my act together and started producing something real.
It was way back in my school years that I was hit with the music bug. Various attempts at forming groups or learning instruments came and went but to little avail. Life moved on and although music stayed a passion, jobs were found, and marriage and the family became my priority.
However an introduction to the wonders of modern musical technology presented me with a way to finally unlock these premature ramblings and set them free in the real world. Then with a later introduction to the marvels of the world wide web, the perfect way for other people to hear them was found, bringing us to ...well where we are today.
