This is rare, for me. This song was entirely step recorded on my Mac, without ever picking up an instrument. I will most likely add some guitar parts to this, but it sounds pretty good to me as is.
The drum tracks were programmed using Doggiebox, my Mac-based drum sequencer. |

| This is what I finally ended up with. I removed the other two previous mixes so no one has anything to compare it to. |

This is something that happens when I have nothing ready to record, but I just have to do SOMETHING. I gravitate towards interpreting christmas carols.
This one also involves my playing drums rather than programming. |

| Here, I used Doggiebox to begin what I hoped would be a series of instrumental compositions. This is as far as I got (and probably as far as I will get). |

| This is some piano, strings, choral voices, etc as step recorded midi files. The drums are courtesy of Doggiebox as is par for the course for me. The guitar is played live, of course. I got a nice lead tone from my tele and a borrowed ProCo Rat, played through my Marshall Studio 15. |

| This is not really a song, but my hope is that it proves inspirational to my fellow Doggiebox users. I used my ns_kit and added a bit of ambient reverb a mixdown. |
