Here is a blast from the past. This was done 10 years ago on my first multi track, a tascam 8 track cassette. It has a ton of hiss, but it is a reminder to me of where I was, and what I could do with a fairly inexpensive set up. The musicians were very good. The best Mic I had was a Shure SM57 and a AKG C1000 for vocals.

Here is a 12 year old girl I recorded 3/28/04.
Her Dad (a friend of mine) wanted he to enter a vocal competition, so we made a simple recording of her.
It gets a little pitchy in places and the timing varies, but all in all,I think she is very good! Let me know what you think of her,I'll pass it on. |

This is a rough mix of our band recording all at one time without a click track.
I didn't know we could do it live but they proved me wrong. There has been done only a small amount of editing during the walk up between the two songs and no effects save a little reverb just as a rough demo. The horn parts and percussion parts are still to be added. |
