Skovy Skovy Location: Charlotte, NC, Artist Description: Sonically versitile, having played in nearly all styles and genres of bands, starting out as a bass player for rock and southern gospel bands as a teenager, then moved to FL to attend Full Sail where he aquired his recording arts degree. He returned to VA to start The Abductees a prog/rock original band in Blacksburg. After that band dissolved, he then moved to Charlotte NC, performing solo, and also played guitar with funk/rap rock band The Funk. He was drawn into The Next Bad Thing, where a couple of the members and he started Innerbound. After Innerbound, he and Elizabeth Owolabi met and started Barbed Serotonin, in an americana pop rock style. He also continues to write and record solo material and perform at open mic nights around Charlotte. He is finishing a degree in Music at Central Piedmont Community College in Charlotte, NC. Band members: Skovy - guitars, bass, mandolin, keys, harmonica, drums, percussion, programming, vocals The Clurge - drums M'arthur - drums Instruments: anything that makes noise.
