Poetica Poetica 
Location:Amersfoort, Utrecht, Artist Description: Since 1993, the Dutch alternative rockband Poetica in Silentio combines heavy guitars, vocal harmonies and a tight rhythm-section with violin, flute and samples to create their own, unique sound. Poetica is often compared to King Crimson, David Bowie and Pink Floyd, but is also tributary to modern Belgian pop like dEUS and Zita Swoon. For the Etcetera festival in 1996 the band put together a special performance with different elements such as video, theatre, poetry, fire, lights and of course music, which proved that Poetica can also be very strong visually. Recently, Poetica has recorded a new CD, titled 'What do Fish Know'.
